Thanks for the links! Very helpful. I've got another question I'm hoping you all might have some thoughts on.

Having been in education all my life, I have never experienced a business style interview setting. Can you give me a sense of what I might expect in an interview for, say, an auditing or staff accountant position? How much of a typical interview would involve technical things vs. non-technical topics? What kinds of technical questions might be asked?

I've checked several sites online and haven't found one that really gets into the nuts and bolts of an accounting interview. ANy thoughts would, again, be greatly appreciated!
