Thanks for the reply, Chris!

I figured weather could be iffy, and we're not skiers. In fact, I've skied the Rockies twice, both times as family vacations. The first time was in '77, when the snow was so bad, the resorts installed snow machines the following winter. The next time was in '91. Every time I said that I hadn't skied in 14 years, the weather reports said it was the worst snow season in 14 years. Both of my brothers told me never to ski with them again -- they told me together, they told me separately, they told me publicly, they told me privately. In fact, they even said that, even if I think I've heard them invite me, they didn't mean it.

The other side of the family (where I'm just the outlaw, not even an inlaw) has taken us to Pearl Street several times.

Biking might be something to consider. Gentle hiking is always a good possibility for us.

Thanks again!
