Thanks for your reply. I did dispute the charges directly with all three CRAs. They advised me to also contact the CA with a letter demanding them to remove it as a CYA precaution. So I did so, just in case. The other SSN associated with the account showed up on one report. Experian immediately removed it after I called an explained it wasn't mine. I hope they quickly get those other charges off of there. I don't understand how someone can give a name and different social and get an account. I always assumed they pull your credit check via social.

Yes, I know it was a waste of closing costs. Long story. Short version, I got an offer on my house in MD and was moving to TX. I was due to close on the MD house, fly down and close in TX for cash. Well two days prior to closing in MD, I found out the purchaser's mortgage didn't get finalized and she couldn't buy it. I had to put the house back on the market and scramble to get a mortgage to buy the house in TX. Thankfully the turnover was high in that market and I was able to get another offer almost immediately. After that I paid off the mortgage and cursed the original buyer.

I assume my overall score is good, since creditors always seemed to be impressed. I've never actually seen the number personally though. I'll just not worry about the second mortgage not showing. The only reason I wonder about the score is to get the best rate if I ever need a loan for something. No plans in the works. I'm just a worrier by nature.

Who plans to never ever move again after the experience above
