We definitely have the best powder here. That said, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend Argentina if skiing isn't your only goal. We stayed in Bariloche 5 days and skiied at 3 different resorts (Cerro Bayo, Cerro Catedral and one more I can't remember). We then spent 4 days in Buenos Aires just sightseeing and hanging out. The airfare is the killer but everything else is cheap (hotels, skiing, food, shopping). Argentina is known for steak and leather goods. Both were superb. Eight of us went to a steakhouse in Bariloche one night. All of us had filet mignon, appetizers, wine, dessert, etc. The bill was only $150 US. English isn't THAT widely spoken outside of the hotels but that made it all the more fun to me.-Steph
