Thanks for your response. "Yes" to all your questions except the testing for top-heaviness - this is a "safe harbor" 401k, which requires that I contribute a minimum of 3% for all employees, so I can avoid the testing. I have a third party administrator who has obtained a trust tax ID number and who will be filing the tax forms.

I understand the importance of diversity in investment choices, but can you give me some specifics? What funds would you recommend? Thanks.
