You know how long I resisted treatment. And I'm sure that I did myself more harm than good (because untreated bipolar tends to get worse.) But I was so afraid of what the meds would do. I am so relieved that we may have actually gotten something that works on the first try. The trial and error process probably would have set me back to resisting for another 10 to 15 years. UGH.
