Thanks, rusted soul. I'm beginning to see this is not a quick fix - and I'm printing out some of the material on Foolish Four and the sources you put out and will read up before I make any more decisions. I'm not too concerned about the Retirement Fund, but when I leave my job (or move my 401K) which may be as soon as a few months or as long as a few years), I certainly want be more informed about what I'm doing. Doing my own research seems more logical than speaking to brokers.
