Thanks so much for the hearty welcome. As I alluded to in my first post, the thing to remember is "lifestyle changes." In your quest to lose weight, make sure that you balance exercise with proper nutritional habits. There is no such thing as a "quick fix" when it comes to losing weight

Exactly why this board was started. We are tired of hearing about the quick fixes and melt the fat away garbage that is out there! We want real changes but lacked the courage to do it.

I hope with this board that we will put together a framework of support for anyone, and I mean anyone, who wants to seriously consider changing their eating habits and their physical habits.

Most of us have accepted our present state, but it doesn't mean we have to like it. I want to feel good about my body again and I want my kids to be proud of me. I would do anything for my kids and part of that was quitting smoking to add years to my life, the next is being more healthy and active so I can enjoy those years with them.

Dave? What do you think of my start plan? The dancing with my kids for 15 min. 3 days a week for starters?
