Thanks so much for the help Lorenzo. Her number and mine were very close, not exactly the same as a result of an arithmatic error on my part.

Anyhow, a wrinkle, I entered all my information as I said I had into TaxCut for Sched C, and then the program asked me for any 1099-MISC forms. When I entered the information from the form my tax due went through the roof. The program entered BOTH the 1099 and what I had entered earlier as my income.

Just something to watch out for.

The $600 limit for 1099's is just for businesses right? I wouldn't get one from a homeowner who paid me over $600?
