Thanks so much for the reply and advice. I need to do a lot of reading because investing is a whole new world. (I even tried to read a little bit about options and shorting and puts, etc., but that is way over my head at this point and that's probably a VERY GOOD THING for me.)

I do have a quick question. I would love to add some core stocks to my portfolio, but they all seem to be trading at their 52-week highs. My guess is that I need to wait it out until the bubble bursts? I know I'm green, but some of these stock prices strike me as totally outrageous ($700 for a share of Priceline, really?)

I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'm really happy to have finally found this place.
