Thanks to all of you who have posted your thoughts on MLPs, and which are appropriate for IRAs. I will check them out. This is a complex investment sector, but probably worth the effort it requires. Those who like REITs should also like MLPs: Relative safety, good yields, stable cash flows, and moderate growth. And, a few tax advantages.
