That is bizarre___________This is not bizarre.I live in Korea. My CC institued this wonderful system whereby if any "strange" or "odd" charges came up on my card, it would be rejected. I was using the card once and was rejected. I thought it odd, but tried the cash machine. Rejected. I went to the credit union the next day. They could only say that this protection system had kicked in. I had to call and talk to them.I called that night. The said the funny charges were a ticket on Korean Airlines and two nights in a hotel in Taegu, Korea. I asked them if they knew what my address was. They read it correctly, but were taken aback when I told them that APO AP means Army Post Office, Area Pacific. I explained to them that I lived in Korea. They fixed the problem, but less than a week later, same thing. I had to call again and get them to remove the "protection" so I could use the card.I still worry as I travel often and don't wan't the headache, that is why I have the card in the first place.Fredinseoul
