So when my husband visited last weekend, I asked him to bring some warm weather clothes (heh--he brought about half of what I listed and the other half was clothing I forgot I owned ;-) and sent him back with all of my cold weather clothing. Just in time for the temp to plummet! I have no k nee sox or warm tights, no winter coat, no fleece. But I did alright in my goretex jacket over a cotton sweater and ankle-high thin wool sox. At least I kept my suede ankle boots.

The moral of the story? Don't get cocky, kid? Don't count your chickens?
