That seems to perfectly match my earlier statement that the only winning platform in America today is to lie to the American people by claiming that you can cut taxes and balance the budget without explaining how and knowing that you will not balance the budget.

The Republicans know that you have to do even more to have the winning platform--you must lie that you can cut taxes, balance the budget, and fight two wars at the same time, without explaining how and knowing that you will not balance the budget plus you will destroy the credibility of the United States to boot.
