Neither is very practical in autos due to safety issues and high weight.But keep in mind, the mol wt of boron nitride has to be at least 25. If it carries a full molecule of hydrogen, mol wt 2, it's capacity will be abt 8% by wt.That implies this technology too will face the usual range limitations of alternate fuels. Not the 20% penalty of ethanol, but maybe a 12 fold weight increase for the same range.This is an interesting area for research but not a good place for your venture capital dollars. At least not yet.
