That sounds yummy, PolymerMom. I might have to try it. And if I find a bottle of Sun Zen's Sweet Red Pepper Sauce, I'll take it to Art and we'll have to recreate. The problem of course is that it is probably FULL of sugar. Maybe I can make a lower carb recipe with splenda. Lately I have seen articles about how artificial sweetners can cause a craving for more sweets just like sugar. I have to disagree. I have managed to cut out almost all sugar except for very seldom taste of regular dessert (yes, I do use some sauces with sugar more regularly but try to limit how much and stay away from the ones that are extreme in sugar).Art makes some of the best sauces. They are mostly yummy because he does not cut back on sugar. But he will make an alternate version for me sometimes when I visit. We love that Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce, but I use that very sparingly.
