That's an admirable goal, and when it comes to personal finance you do well to have lofty goals. However, if you fall short - don't sweat it. You are still light years ahead of most of your peers.

Well, I already fell short. I had hoped to hit zero by the beginning of this year. And then comes my goal of debt free by the end of this year. Maybe, we'll see.
