That's good to know. I'm just hesitant to spend a whole lot until I know I really like it and want to do it long term.


Totally agreed. In the meantime, if you have a scarf that you can tie around your hips, that helps add the weight and give you the feel even if it doesn't give you the noise.

And of course a bag of fake coins (from most any craft store) isn't too expensive if you don't mind sacrificing a scarf and sewing them on yourself.

Some of the BD websites even sell the real coins if you want to go one step up from fake coins, but still not to the cost of the full belt.
