That's so strange that Paramount gets a percentage of the box office. I understand the reason, but it feels odd to have to pay the company money at this point. Has to be done, though. The short-interest in Disney is a good and bad thing. Good for short-squeeze reasons, but it is bad because -- and I am tending to agree with this -- the stock might be short-term too extended. I have a position in Disney at the moment that I was thinking of taking off the table myself. The TWX-learning-from-DIS thing is interesting. TWX is doing pretty well itself, but it probably should exploit its DC arm a little better. Perhaps the next Superman film will lead to its own phase-making.
