[T]he 24-70 II F2.8 it is amazing. . . Mount the 70-200 f2.8 II on the 1DX . . .

Thanks for the feedback - greatly appreciated. Always nice to have my preexisting biases confirmed. I'm a little afraid I'd break a 5D3. I've got a couple other lenses, but probably 95% of my shots are done with the original versions of these two lenses. Are the "II" versions of these lenses a huge improvement? Is there much of a market for heavily used older lenses?

One of the things I love about the 1D Mark IV is its performance in low-light situations. I can crank the ISO up to 3200 or so and still get very nice pictures. Hopefully the 1DX has retained or improved this performance?
