The 3.5 percent fee alone would wipe out health insurance profit margins if they didn't pass the fee on to consumers.
I guess they should just be nationalized then.
Not that i want that, i'm totally for a very stringently and rigidly controlled free market, but if health insurers can't compete in a government dictated free market then maybe it would be best for the government to take it over to run it more efficiently, besides there should be no profits in the health care industry. I'll tell you one thing, i could never have forseen something like a government takover of healthcare, but whattaya gonna do, the free market failed.
