The acting all around has generally been top notch. The mysteries this year are much more entertaining than the kid locked in Alfre Woodard's basement last year (A waste of AW IMO). Gabrielle seems unredeemed and unredeemable.

I agree. I don't think the show was as bad last year as some critics say, but the mystery was a waste of time and Alfre. But, the show has been much better this season.

Occasionally, they have moments where Gabrielle seems redeemable, but they do seem to quickly forget those moments (this season, when Gabrielle and Carlos agreed to stop acting so mean was one such moment, but then she became a b*tch again).
