The advice you got is great! Just another thought -
when you setup the new R/O IRA with the new Trustee or
Custodian you don't have to transfer it all over at once. Thus, if you have cd's or other time-constraint
assets, you can wait for them to mature at the bank
and transfer them later. Moving assets from one R/O
IRA to another does not create a taxable event, unless
