The audio didn't work for me in either IE or Firefox.
Mish - you should publish the RSS feed to Apple's
podcast directory and the other podcast directories
out there.  They've got categories for econ/market
related podcasts.

If you're inclined to believe Elliot Wave theory (not
necessarily Prechter) then this deflationary recession/
depression will lead to some radical changes in our
society.

I'd guess that the public sector and the regulatory
state ends up looking a lot more like Canada's than
a lot of us would like.

I'm not saying that this is right or wrong - but it
will more than likely be inevitable.  Single payer
health insurance & more regulation over business.

On the plus side, by sheer necessity we will probably
have weened ourselves off of oil a great deal and
become more dependant on alternative fuels.

At least that's what my magic 8 ball told me.
