The author of the seekingalpha article definitely raises good questions. I would not conclude too fast that YONG management is being dishonest, but they sure need to be more transparent. I do not buy that protecting strategic information about distributors from competitors is acceptable considering how serious the doubts are.
And this thing about YONG CEO holding a second job does not make any sense to me. Is he bored with managing only one company?
Hopefully Yongye will respond swiftly and satisfactorily, as they have seemed willing to do in the past.
I am still long on YONG, but I have been burned with Chinese small caps more often than not, and I start to think it is the Wild West over there, and not really fit for small international investors like me.
