The best kind of union is one whose greed and stupidity lead to its own elimination. Too bad for all the other employees who will lose their jobs.

Really. I saw on the local news tonight that the strikers refused to back down even though the company said that if they didn't return to work by 4 p.m. today, it would have to go out of business as it had insufficient funds to remain in operation.

Do these union people not have any grasp on reality? Any at all?

I saw one union guy being interviewed on the news who said the strike was partly over fairness in working hours, so that employees can spend more time with their families. Well, pal, I suspect you'll get your wish real soon.
