The bull market started in October.

It did? Please recall that the indexes all fell to close to their October lows again around early March this year (Nasdaq not quite as close). Most of the Louis Rukeyeser's fans I've heard are saying the "New Bull" started from those early March lows.

What are the PEs with October prices and earnings from the recently finished quarter?

I dunno. I just know that with a P/E of 32.93 (source:http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=SP500&sid=3377) currently on the S&P, this ain't the stuff of usual early Bulls. Of course, this time may truly be different, for the first time ever.
