The company issuing the annuity should help you - surely they have an 800 number.I don't know details either but, if possible, some of the money should probably be moved. And, as any Fool can tell you, check the advisor carefully, her/his company, etc.I removed my mother's trust account from a bank when she was 75. She was terrified but didn't want to distrust me. The bank had reduced the account by half in about 13 years, I (with help and antacids) brought it back and then doubled it in 12 years.Maybe you can find Fools in your mother's area to help her.
