Those who pine for a functioning two party system should recalibrate their request.

Seeing as how the Obama administration has adopted the Heritage Foundation health care plan, rejected FDR levels of Keynesian stimulus, and drone strikes, we can only hope for a more liberal party to rise up in counterpoint to this modern Eisenhower administration.

Leave the John Birch Society as a curiosity of reactionaries, rather than as a legitimate governing entity.

Regardless of how one views FDR, he had a functioning government that won a war and left us with useful, successful, enduring programs that created a solid middle class.

The John Birch Society, originally, and reborn has given this county NOTHING.
