The exact same thing happened when I left MCI Worldcom about a year ago. They sent me this nastygram along with a $50 bill saying that I didn't pay last month. Tacky.

Interesting! I had a similar thing happen with MCIWireless. I began getting billed months after I cancelled the service.

Trying to even get hold of someone in that company is a nightmare, no less getting a problem solved.

But I did, eventually.
