The first thing that caught my eye in your post was '6 years'!
Holy Cow!!! It's any wonder you are ready to crack. Love really has a lot of tolerance, doesn't it!?

Cori mentioned the same problem in recent years & both cats have been declawed. Maybe the 'litter' feels aweful under their paws? It just a coincidence?

My Pepper hates Kitty litter and does her business in the bathroom sink.

HECK! this is sad :o(

Question:

Did she EVER eliminate in a litter box?

I thought maybe....you can teach OLD dogs new tricks....maybe OLD CATS can be taught as well.

Going back to basics, perhaps you can place Darka on the litter box & gently rub a cotton wool ball across her genitals. This promotes urine. You need to wear rubber gloves.

Do this as often as you think & maybe she will get the message, otherwise, sheesh! I can understand your frustration. SIX years!
