The Fool is already losing volume and has been for over a year, perhaps longer.

Public boards volume has been in decline for over a decade. It peaked in 2000. I did the analysis a few years ago and concluded that, at the then-current rate, posting volume would be zero sometime around 2014. Probably instead it will saunter down to some baseline of political nut jobs (on every side) mixed with doomsday predictors who don't have a voice elsewhere, and all the people who want to have actual discussions about money and investing will have moved elsewhere.
