The foundation of any successful company is strong leadership. Yahoo's current leader, Terry Semel, lacks the vision, instincts, urgency, and necessary advertising sales experience to turn the company around.I'm willing to give Semel a little slack until he has a chance to demonstrate a turn-around approach. Remember, real action takes time to execute. A flurry of ideas (without real action) surrounding super salesmen doesn't get it done for a truly profitable business. This may be wishful thinking but I hope there's more to the slower pace than constipation. ;-)
