The hard part is figuring out which one has good service around where I work....the people on Sprint say they have no problem...but they are in the cubes next to the window...and I'm not.

This might sound like a dumb question, but can't you just get one of your Sprint-using co-workers to come try their phone in your cubicle to see if it works there as well as near the window?

Another, more general, option is to try http://www.howardforums.com . It's a discussion board for all things wireless. There are boards specific to every provider and every phone manufacturer. The place seems pretty chaotic and filled with a lot of yungin's but I did find some useful info there when I was looking for a provider. You might check out the Sprint forum and look for threads specific to your neck of the woods (or do a search).
