The liberal solution is to have the gov't force the private sector to pay more for entry level jobs.

I am not looking for the goverment to force the private sector to pay more. The free market is doing that.

The cost of living is too high for what the employers are paying.

Putting people on the street with no assistance will not force more people into $6 per hour jobs. How long can someone work at a $6 per hour job, if that does not pay enough for a safe place to sleep? or regular access to a place to clean yourself?

There are only so many 22 year olds who can couch surf while you pay them $6 an hour. Most peole need to be able to pay for their own place.
