The lust for tyrannical power over others is contagious throughout the history of the world.

And keeping the lamp of freedom lit is an invaluable tool for America and serves Americans well in creating a world it is much safer to be America in, and one where freedom of exchange increases our productivity.

It is a self-serving and a good role that America has long maintained and should continue to provide, being America, and working toward freedom, even if we did it at time imperfectly.

A lot of Americans used to know that.
