I would like to thank the academy for this lovely pair of cyber antlers make of macaroni and miracle whip. I will wear them with pride. (Either that or I'll throw in some tuna fish and call them dinner.)

However, it seems to me it is only fair that you contribute a recipe. It's harvest time -- tomato salad? Bruschetta? Mediterranean chicken?

Great idea! How about...

Marinated Shrimp

2 Lb. Shrimp, fresh or frozen
1C. Mild White Onion, thinly sliced
1C. Salad Oil
1½ Tbs. Salt
1C. White Vinegar
dash Tabasco Sauce
2½ tsp. Celery Seed
2½ Tbs. Capers, and juice

Cook shrimp in boiling salted water.
Cool and shell.
In a shallow dish, alternate layers of shrimp and sliced onion.
Mix the remaining ingredients together, and pour over the shrimp and onion.
Refrigerate at least 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve in a shallow bowl with marinade and a supply of cocktail picks.
