The next Constitution will have to spell out that, no, you can't reach into other's wallets to fulfill your own wants and needs nor can you use the government as your muscle to make that happen. Non of this "general welfare" bullcrap that can be misused by the enablers and moochers to fleece the producers dry. No ambiguity about our right to keep and bear arms, our freedom to practice and SPEAK ABOUT our religion, no question about the limits of the government when it comes to eminent domain, no "abortion is a right" or "healthcare is a right". Unless you spell out explicitely that moochers won't be appeased and enablers won't have wiggle room then there's no defense against them. Give them an inch they'll take a mile when we can't even afford a yard. You'll also have to prevent that next constitution from being amended or expanded. That is because the split second things settle down, out comes the bong and we're back on the same tracks we were before. Plus I don't think there is any amount of verbage that will prevent the leftist edumacarions from redefining the meaning of the word 'is'.justacog
