The oldest had 10 kids

That's a lot of kids.

My Dad's parents had 13 kids, but 2 died in childhood. The remaining 11 (including the oldest twins, Gertrude and Grace) had a number of children each, some from multiple marriages. Dad is the youngest, and is the last survivor now - Grace passed away recently at the ripe old age of 91. There's a 20-some year difference between her and Dad. Indeed, she was married with kids of her own by the time my Dad arrived.
