The Olympic Peninsula...nice! I lived in Seattle for a few years many years ago, and met my wife on one of the islands off there. Nice place. Not very sunny though, eh?

Actually, I live in a rain shadow area, which is much sunnier and drier than Seattle, although we can get a marine fog layer.

401K - were you saying that with a self employed 401K I could contribute even if my business has a loss? The whole $18K limit? I have to look into that!

With catch-up, it could be $24k. I believe it's possible to do so, if your company is set up correctly - probably as a corporation, rather than as a sole proprietorship, so at this point in the year, it may not work for you. Again, a question to ask a professional.
