The only difference between the "Liquid Lounge" contest and the METAR contest version of thelast two years, was the "Liquid Lounge" contest had no multiplier, but allowed more picks. This was also a winner-takes-all contest and yet the average return of our picks outperformedthe SPY, handily at that. EOY results for 2009https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AqiAhpKxiDm4dEt...Some additional points1. The top two were micro-caps that did really well. #3 AAPL is/was a large cap.2. There were a handful of both large caps and mid-caps. The only stock not on a major exchange was actually a "cigar-butt" play, FTAR.OB (IIRC, this was a cash-rich winding down idea).3. My pick that turned into a Pink Sheet listing was actually a Texas based bank that twobillionaires tried to rescue, but were not successful :( 4. 22 of 32 picks beat the SPY return
