The only difference between the "Liquid Lounge" contest and the METAR contest version of the
last two years, was the "Liquid Lounge" contest had no multiplier, but allowed more picks.
This was also a winner-takes-all contest and yet the average return of our picks outperformed
the SPY, handily at that.

EOY results for 2009

Some additional points
1. The top two were micro-caps that did really well. #3 AAPL is/was a large cap.
2. There were a handful of both large caps and mid-caps. The only stock not on a major exchange was
actually a "cigar-butt" play, FTAR.OB (IIRC, this was a cash-rich winding down idea).
3. My pick that turned into a Pink Sheet listing was actually a Texas based bank that two
billionaires tried to rescue, but were not successful :(
4. 22 of 32 picks beat the SPY return
