The only reason analysts even exist is to support stock trading - not investing. If you follow the analysts you will constantly be buying and selling, and typically after the major moves up and down have occurred. Is it any surprise to realize that the analysts are employed by the brokerage firms that make money when you buy or sell?

I do not listen to analysts and and am a long term buy and hold kind of guy. Can you tell?
