The only thing "unsettling" to me, she has never served as a judge.

She won't be the first . . . Rehnquist never having served as a judge as well as a number of others. I must say I didn't find her very impressive when I listened to her Oval office speech (referring to notes as opposed to being extemporaneous like John Roberts). But after John Roberts, I think I would probably feel that way about any nominee . . . he is really going to be some tough act to follow. I don't envy her (or any nominee for that matter) having to appear before the Judiciary Committee following John Roberts' performance. So far from what I have read, she is a very bright person . . . Jay Sekulow's article was encouraging. I wish her luck and hope she does well before the committee.
