The people of CA (including former residents like myself) approved the utilities "deregulation" initiative by a wide margin. Some, well, actually a lot of those who voted did support deregulation. Just for the record, I voted "no." Mostly because I couldn't understand how deregulation would help a consumer. Well, I guess it really didn't, did it.Too bad we couldn't hook up all the treadmills, stationary bikes, and stairmasters in CA to some sort of grid and store all the energy they generate! If we did that, we could probably save the kittens for dire emergencies.Fed
