The percentage of taxes paid by the rich has gone up by 50% in 50 years!

Of course, you're only talking about income taxes, and this is because the tax burden has shifted. If you look at the total tax pie, it's actually net regressive...rich people pay a lower percentage than poor people do. Mitt Romney's income tax burden was 13%. His "other" burden was almost nothing in comparison. After all, he doesn't eat 250 million times more than everyone else, his tax burden on food, property, fuel, etc is a sand grain in his gold pile.

But you knew all this. As 2828 said, one gets tired of debunking all your lies.
