The places I'm looking at don't have open houses, and they are in another state.

I'm not going to be able to make an offer until I have the information I need to make that offer. or at least some of it.

As for being a "serious" buyer... what constitutes a "serious" buyer. Someone who is going to be buying a house at some point? Someone who is going to buy a house today and has cash in hand?

I remember stories of people who met Howard Hughes and treated him like a bum, not knowing he was a billionaire. In my mind everyone should be given the same consideration, because you don't know for sure who they are and what they can do for you in the future.

But then I guess, I'm abnormal.

Lady I, abnormal and happy with it.
