Can't remember if I said it, but DW and I are going to Australia in May. The flying is done -- mostly on FF points. Flying into Cairns (Great Barrier Reef and more), out to Uluru (Table Rock), Sidney, and Melbourne.

We have three weeks total and Melbourne will take up one week for an international conference (including flying in and out at the end).

Here's the thing. DW has NEVER entrusted me to plan a vacation. 33 years ago her pre-nupt included that my vacations were to boring and I needed to go on HERS. But, planning from this distance is too hard with her job, and I'm retired [smile].

So, with GREAT reluctance she has given me three days in Sidney to plan. I'll for sure try the Opera House, but I'd like any more ideas to offer.

Also, she'll be working and I'll have time on my own in Melbourne. A few suggestions there would be welcome too.
