The problem is that the credit card issuers go to great extremes to make it easier for you to mess up...Perhaps, but many also make it very easy NOT to mess up by allowing you to make automatic payments via their web site. Even for non-automatic payments, I can make an online payment one day after the closing date and have it credited that same day (if submitted before 1pm EST), and it comes out of my checking account within two business days. With my credit union CC, I can make instant payments from my checking/savings account. So it's not all bad.Who wonders if this is how they treat 20yr valued customers...Stop doing business with such companies! George
