The strange thing about losing weight and dropping from one size to another is that if you start as a 1X and go down to a Large you are probably going from one size range to another, and maybe in a different brand or even a different store. So it's harder to compare.

And those size 12 pants from sometime last century? They're like a 10 now.

I actually did keep some pleated khaki pants and shorts. Tried them on when I hit about 155, and oh my goodness they were UGLY. Decided that they could probably be better appreciated by someone who desperately needed a change of clothing.

And now I've got to get started again, and try to actually reach the goal this time. I don't know what I am now, probably about 162. Trying for 150 unless I change my mind and decide 155 is low enough. But I will not try to be skinny. Even if 150 leaves me "too fat for fashion" (and it might), too bad.
