The theater is older at this point. No idea if it was equipped with the latest tech. (Harkins Arizona Mills) It was a smallish theater. Not small, but not as big as some (like their Cine Capri format...larger screen, more seats).I am skeptical the 48fps by itself is responsible. Real life runs faster than that, and I don't experience in real life what I saw in that theater.I noticed it most in the outdoor scenes when the characters (or creatures) were on the move. Also the close-up shots of the wolf-like creatures the orcs ride...totally looked fake. I didn't believe it, and for a fantasy story that is death. You MUST believe it or it doesn't work.
